Fifteen artists from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas come together in an international project that crosses cultures, artistic languages and individual creative paths.
Atelier 15 was conceived by Andrea Benetti with the aim of creating an international network of artists selected for the quality and originality of their artistic research. The group has been built over time through dialogue, exchange and collaboration among artists from very different cultural backgrounds.
What makes this project unique is that, although the artists have collaborated for years through the web, social media and the sharing of their artistic experiences, they have never met in person.
With “Unknown Friends”, their works will be brought together for the first time in an international exhibition in Milan, and many of the participants will finally have the opportunity to meet face to face.
Hosted at The Warehouse by Theoria, in the heart of Milan, the exhibition represents Atelier 15’s first major exhibition project and the beginning of a journey intended to develop over the coming years through new collaborations, encounters and international initiatives.
