Andrea Benetti’s artwork dedicated to Karol Wojtyła was donated by A.N.F.E.
to His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI and included in the Vatican Collections.
On November 28, 2012, the A.N.F.E. Association presented Andrea Benetti’s piece, titled “Omaggio a Karol Wojtyla“, to Pope Benedict XVI. During the reception at the Vatican’s Paul VI Hall (Nervi Hall), the artwork was highly appreciated by the Pope and subsequently acquired for the Vatican Art Collections. In addition to the A.N.F.E. President, the event was attended by the artist Andrea Benetti, the Director of the Pegaso European Institute, Domenico Di Conza, and several regional A.N.F.E. Presidents, including Prof. Rocco Fazzini, President of the Marche Region. The artwork is a bas-relief created and painted on canvas.
