Neo-Cave drawings

Neo-Cave drawings are made on a particular paper, which Andrea Benetti creates and names after the place where it is produced: the “Paper of Montesanto“, the “Paper of Patu“, the “Paper of Sant’Erasmo“, and so on. In use are charcoal, sanguine, sepia, and white chalk. The figures portrayed often borrow symbols from cave painting or are reinterpreted, generating a neo-symbolism inspired by it. The drawings are enclosed between two Plexiglas plates, joined with satin silver studs.
