Neo-Cave drawings

Neo-Cave drawings are made on a particular paper, which Andrea Benetti creates and to which he gives the name of the place where it was created. The ” Paper of Montesanto,” the Paper of Patu,” the “Paper of Sant’Erasmo, and so on. In use are charcoal, sanguine, sepia and white chalk. The figures portrayed often borrow symbols from Cave painting, or are reinvented, generating a neo-symbolism, inspired by Cave painting. The drawings are sandwiched between two Plexiglas plates, joined by satin silver studs.
