Organized by Stefania Cassano, in the Great Hall of University Palace, on the morning of February 28, in the presence of the Magnificent Rector, prof. Antonio Felice Uricchio, by prof. Donato Coppola and prof. Gregorio Rossi held the “Seminar on Neo-Cave Art“, at the end of which Andrea Benetti received the “International Excellence Award” and one of his works was acquired in the Collection of the University of Bari. At 6.00 pm it was the exhibition entitled “La genesi della pittura” was inaugurated, which consisted of twenty-two works and lasted until the end of March 2014. A live musical performance by Frank Nemola was held at the inauguration. The exhibition was strongly supported, hosted and promoted by the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” and the “AnimARSi” Cultural Association. The exhibition and the seminar were sponsored by the Puglia Region, the Province and Municipality of Bari, the Municipality of Castellana Grotte, the F.A.I. (Italian Environment Fund).
