At the Quirinal for the acquisition of a work in the Collection
After a series of letters exchanged between Andrea Benetti and the Ceremonial Office of the Presidency of the Italian Republic, President Giorgio Napolitano expressed his intention to acquire Andrea Benetti’s painting for the Quirinal Palace collection. A Neo-Cave work by Andrea Benetti, entitled “Caccia VII”, has been acquired in the Quirinal Art Collection. In the photo, Andrea Benetti is pictured with Professor Louis Godart, during the handover of the work, which took place at the Quirinal Palace, in the studio of Professor Godart, Advisor for the Preservation of the Artistic Heritage of the Presidency of the Republic. The work was acquired by order of the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano. The work by Andrea Benetti is titled Hunt VII, year 2010, 50 x 100 cm, oil, henna and acrylic on bas-relief in plaster on canvas.
