Conceived and drafted by Andrea Benetti in 2006, the Manifesto was presented at the 53rd Venice Biennale of Art in November 2009 in the pavilion set up at Ca’ Foscari University. The event came about thanks to M.A.C.I.A. – Museum of Italian Contemporary Art in America, which invited Andrea Benetti to present his Manifesto of Neo-Cave Art, in the international pavilion “Natura e sogni” curated by Gregorio Rossi and Francesco Elisei. For the event, a catalog was published by Umberto Allemandi & C.
