”Memory” by Andrea Benetti and Lanfranco Di Rico

In September 2008, an exhibition in memory of the Victims of September 11, 2001, was held at the Johns Hopkins University in Bologna. Sponsored by the Emilia Romagna Region, the Province and the City of Bologna, the exhibition by Andrea Benetti and Lanfranco Di Rico, entitled “Memory,” consisted of four pictorial-sculptural works, a video installation by Andrea Benetti and Nicola Roversi. Written in the catalog were Gregorio Rossi, Chiara Filippini, and Roberto Sabatelli, and the presentation was by Johns Hopkins University Director Professor Kennet H. Keller. The exhibition was curated by Lisa Gelhaus, JHU’s chief cultural officer.
