In September 2008, an exhibition in memory of the victims of September 11, 2001, was held at Johns Hopkins University in Bologna. Sponsored by the Emilia Romagna Region, the Province, and the City of Bologna, the exhibition by Andrea Benetti and Lanfranco Di Rico, entitled “Memory,” featured four pictorial-sculptural works and a video installation by Andrea Benetti and Nicola Roversi. Contributions in the exhibition catalog were written by Gregorio Rossi, Chiara Filippini, and Roberto Sabatelli, with an introduction by Johns Hopkins University Director, Professor Kenneth H. Keller. The exhibition was curated by Lisa Gelhaus, JHU’s chief cultural officer.
