Published by Umberto Allemandi, the catalog for the national pavilion “Natura e sogni” of the Republic of Costa Rica was produced in collaboration with the MACIA Museum of Italian Contemporary Art in America at the 53rd Venice Biennale of Art. The “Natura e sogni” Pavilion featured the M.A.C.I.A. Museum of Italian Contemporary Art in America, showcasing works by several artists represented by the museum. Among them was Andrea Benetti, with his work “Il rettile” (2009, 60 x 50 cm, oil and karkadè on bas-relief in plaster on canvas). In the same edition of the Venice Biennale, Benetti also presented the Manifesto of Neo-Cave Art.
