In 2008, the first volume of the general catalog listing the works in the Museum of Italian Contemporary Art in America (M.A.C.I.A.) was produced and published. The book was sponsored by IILA (Istituto Italo-Latino Americano), the Italian Embassy in Costa Rica, and the Embassy of Costa Rica in Italy. Among the artists featured with their works is Andrea Benetti, who is represented in the Permanent Collection with the work entitled “Giochi d’infanzia” (2008, 60 x 40 cm, oil and karkadé on canvas). Other featured artists include: Manlio Allegri, Paolo Amerini, Andrea Benetti, Maria Laura Bonamici Pallini, Luisa Borin, Giuseppe Calonaci, Giuseppe Carta, Piero Sani, Raffaele De Rosa, Lorella Ciampelli, Francesco Mariani, Nilo Morelli, Giancarlo Montuschi, Piero Nincheri, Rossana Parenti, Massimo Pivetti, Massimo Podestà, Ernesto Portas, Anna Ramenghi, Walter Sabatelli, Fedrico Tanzi, and Luca Zampetti.
