Entitled “Colors in Venice,” the exhibition curated by Professor Francesco Paolo Campione originated from the Giacomo Casanova Foundation‘s invitation to Andrea Benetti to be the first artist to exhibit at the Foundation’s new Venetian venue, located in the heart of the San Marco district, inside the historic Zagùri Palace. In addition to the honor of such a prestigious invitation, the deep emotional and professional bond that has connected him to the lagoon city since 2009—when he presented the Manifesto of Neo-Cave Art at the 53rd Venice Biennale of Art at Ca’ Foscari University—took over for Andrea Benetti. In the Manifesto, Andrea Benetti envisions an imaginary bridge between the prehistoric origins of art and its contemporary evolution.
