“B. P. Before Present” by Andrea Benetti curated by Simona Gavioli · Grand Hotel Baglioni · Bologna
In the months of May and June 2011, an exhibition by Andrea Benetti, curated by Simona Gavioli, was set up in the historic Grand Hotel Baglioni in Bologna. The works were exhibited in the rooms that were specifically created to host Lady Diana in her stay in Bologna. The exhibition lasted two months, with an exceptional influx of visitors. At the inauguration, the Director of the Baglioni recalled that, precisely in that Grand Hotel, the master Giorgio Morandi, a symbol of Italian painting and, in this case, of Bolognese art, had his first exhibition. The exhibition was sponsored by the Municipality of Bologna and promoted by the Association of Industrialists and the Association of Traders.
