In the months of August and September 2012, forty-two works by Andrea Benetti were exhibited in Montevergini, the Civic Gallery of Contemporary Art in Syracuse. The exhibition is entitled “Il Simbolismo nella Pittura Neorupestre” and is curated, together with the catalogue, by Dario Scarfì and Gregorio Rossi. Sponsored by the Sicilian Region, the Province and the Municipality of Syracuse, and by the Cultural Association of Johns Hopkins University, the exhibition was set up in Ortigia, a few steps from the Cathedral.
